| A lot of grape detritus drops on the skylights -- skins left by wildlife and just overripe fruit that drops. The glass is pricy nitrogen filled triple glazed R6 with a UV reflective coating. Without the grapes the heat load was such that one could not sit comfortably under the skylight at noon during the sumer -- I wish I had some useful records of the airconditioning cost but we changed to a more energy efficient heat pump. |
